Building healthier, educated and empowered communities.

Our Commitment

Every person deserves the opportunity to live a healthy, dignified and meaningful life.

That belief is the foundation of everything the organisation commits itself to, and the standard against which its work should be judged.

What We Are Committed To

Practical interventions, lasting change

The Foundation is dedicated to serving less privileged and vulnerable individuals through practical humanitarian interventions that create lasting positive change.

The commitments below are not separate programmes. They describe what the Foundation holds itself responsible for across all of its work — from a single family receiving essential assistance to a young person completing a period of training.

Our commitments in detail

Free qualitative education

Removing cost as the reason a child or young person stops learning.

Healthcare support

Helping people reach health support, and reach it earlier.

Human capacity-building programmes

Building the practical knowledge and skills people need to be productive.

Essential assistance

Meeting immediate, practical needs for individuals and families under strain.

Healthy living

Encouraging positive lifestyles and health awareness, particularly among young people.

Empowerment

Equipping people to become confident, productive and self-reliant.

Stronger communities

Supporting participation and responsible involvement in community life.

Restored hope

Making it possible for people to plan again, rather than only cope.

Sustainable opportunities

Creating openings that continue to matter long after the first contact.

Self-reliance and productivity

Supporting people towards independence rather than continued reliance.

How We Conduct Our Work

Six standards we do not compromise on

The Foundation’s work is conducted with compassion, integrity, transparency, respect, equality and accountability. Those words carry obligations, and we intend them to be taken literally.

  • Compassion — we respond to need with kindness and understanding.
  • Integrity — we act honestly, including when it is inconvenient.
  • Transparency — we are willing to explain what we do and why.
  • Respect — the dignity of the people we serve is never negotiable.
  • Equality — support is directed by need, not by connection.
  • Accountability — we expect to answer for our decisions.

Hold us to it.
