Get Involved

There is a practical place for you in this work.

Support, volunteering and partnership each begin in the same way — with a conversation about what is actually needed and what you are able to offer.

01 — Support

Support our work

Individuals, institutions and businesses can support the Foundation’s education, healthcare, capacity-building and humanitarian programmes.

Support can be directed towards a particular focus area or left to be applied where the need is greatest. Before anything is agreed, we will explain what the contribution would be used for and how it will be accounted for.

Please note: the Foundation does not collect donations through this website, and there is no online payment facility here. All support arrangements are discussed and confirmed directly through our official contact channels, listed below. Please treat any other request for payment in the Foundation’s name with caution.

02 — Volunteer

Volunteer your time or expertise

If you would like to give your time, professional skill or experience, we would like to hear from you.

Prospective volunteers are welcome to contact the Foundation to enquire about opportunities. Please tell us what you do, the time you can realistically offer and the area of work that interests you. We will respond honestly about whether there is currently a role in which your contribution would be useful.

We would rather tell you that nothing suitable is open at the moment than accept an offer we cannot put to good use.

Useful things to include

  • Your professional background or area of skill
  • The focus area you are most interested in
  • How much time you can realistically commit
  • Whether you are available in Abuja or remotely
